Seeking London funds

In their desperation to beat the deadline however, a report by Bloomberg, last week quoted Ibukun Adebayo, head of primary markets, for the Middle East and Africa, at the London Stock Exchange (LSE) as saying that some of the banks are nursing the ambition to seek listing in London, in a bid to raise funds before the deadline.
According to Adebayo, "financial services in Nigeria are an area where we see increases in listings," declining however to say how many banks had approached the bourse, citing confidentiality.
