China vs USA : by weight a potato couch weighs the same as a sumo wrestler

. They say USA has the largest economy in the world
. And China second.
. Thats like comparing a luxurious Mercedes A30 aka baby Merc to a skoda, proton saga, Malaysia's low priced national car or to a Tata built economic car.
. In term of size yes, but in terms if quality is heaven and earth.
. Comparing by absolute GDP , yes, China is respected as having 2nd largest economy
. But by GDP per capita it is Heaven and earth. No comparison at all.
. Its like comparing just by weight, a heavy weight boxer and a potato couch.
. China maybe growing by 10% but at what costs.
. A run away corruption, razor thin margin, human rights violation, undemocratic
. Like a car with a high RPM, much distance is covered but starting from a small base.
. Collectively they have bargaining power but precarious edge
. The average Lin in China is living hand to mouth in supposedly the 2nd largest economy in the world .
. So let's stop kidding ourself.
