BYD : Legendary Warren Buffet has a 10% Stake

BYD : Legendary Warren Buffet has bought a 10% stake in BYD for HK$1.8B.
And now Singapore Transport company SMRT is in JV talk to with BYD.

SMRT has 890 buses and 2,600 Buses as of 2010.

"SMRT said that discussions included possible ways to develop, distribute and sell electric vehicles. An SMRT representative told Eco-Business that no further details had been decided yet, but that discussions were on-going."
